    skis for a girl?

Considering you're pretty light, I would stay away from the Mad Trix Mojo (someone suggested that). Consider Salomon 1080. Pocket rockets are a little wide cause you said you don't ski that much powder. 1080 are still 80+mm at the waist, plenty to get you some float. Public enemys would be a...

    bindings w/ toe adjusters????

Back to the post..... I don't think he said he wanted new bindings so lets try and figure out how he can save the old ones. I'm assuming he has some 800 or 900 series solly bindings. Assuming the toe height and wing ajustment are set correctly, and the din is set for his weight and skiing...

    DIN settings

why don't you use the chart so you don't get F*&CkED. If you don't know what the chart is may I suggest taking them to someone who does??? After hauling off over 20 ACL, MCL, and TORQUED ankles every year...I would suggest using the right DIN setting. It's not a 'guess', it's a science.

what type of epoxy to use?

What would really be nice is if you got some fiberglass mixture that they use to repair boats....it's called west Marine. Also, you can find a puddy like epoxy stick...also at a marine store. But if you just want to cover it up and don't really care too much about how it looks, how long it...

    For a fat guy?

185 is fat??? Dude, i'm 6' 187 and I would never consider myself fat. Anyway, my biggest ski is a 186. I would suggest something about 180-185. Head madtrix mojo would be a good ski for you...that ski is so solid. Seth Pistol, scratch's are pretty solid for bigger guys.....just stay away...

    length of skis?

I'm not sure what you're going to use them for (exclusively jibbin?? a little B.C.?) 4-frnt makes a pretty beefy ski. My next suggestion would be the Head mad trix mojo. Again, a super solid ski...pretty stiff. Look in the 180-185 range. Stay away from the Atomics and Salomon skis due to...

    Rossi Binding... Scratch or PoweR?

they probably are....just a hunch, but the scratch might have more of a 'dampener' underneath the binding to absorb shock from jumps and such. I just mounted a pair of powers tonight....the dampener rubber piece thingy was pretty slim and only on the heel...this may not be the case for the...

    db skis?

They were released last year on a limited basis. Full production runs were this year. Also full lines were availible in Las Lenas, Argentina when I was there in August. It's such a sweet ski, but you pay for it.

    1080 pro model boots

I don't think a 'brand' of custom footbeds makes too much of a difference. I also don't think that's the problem since your pain is on your ankle. It's never a bad investment to get custom insoles though...since they can take you through many pairs of boots. Any corked insole is good, and...

    MOUNTING WITH NO BOOT?

skifree- ask any pro in the business. ask any rep in the business. ask any salesman in the business. ....boots are the most important part of your ski setup. nothing else would even come close.

    1080 pro model boots

obviously the guys at the shop were wrong. At any rate, since you've skied them, you have to find a way to modify them. My suggestion is to go to a boot fitter, fork out the 50 bucks, and get those suckers fitted correctly. It could very well be a canting issue. A way to test that is to take...

    MOUNTING WITH NO BOOT?

Boots are the most important part of your setup. It's what's attached to your freakin foot for christ sake. If you don't have good boots, the performance of your bindings and skis are clearly compramised. Buy some boots dude.

    toughest ski?

Stockli Stormrider series...by far. There is no comparison. Kneissl Tanker is a distant second. Followed closely by probably the Volkl G4...Vpro is probably in there. Mad Trix Mojo closely thereafter. 4-frnt close after that. my .02.
