dude i totally agree, not hating on armada's customer service at all! i've had three friends who've all broken armadas and had nothing but a positive experience working with tyson on the warranty side of things. wasn't trying to say that boone's customer service is way superior or anything...
yeah but i bet if nike entered the market it would be with rebranded spk's or some other already proven shell design... in which case, i'd be down to rock the swoosh as long as it didn't add 50 bucks to the price of the boot or something.
i try to shy away from using the E word as much as possible, but i had an epic weekend! the premieres were off the hook and it was a blast seeing all the homies again. good people, good vibes, good afterparties -- good time!
can't wait to get some serious skigasms at boreal in two weeks!
take a chance, go with the boones! they're light, they're poppy, they're durable and they're fun, and you can talk directly to the man in charge if you ever have an issue. it's not like they don't come with a warranty either... give them a chance.
i think the sth14 would be perfect. good enough din for 145 pounds but still keeps the weight down, plus if your boot is between a 24 and a 27, you can probably just use the holes already drilled into the ski without remounting!
depends, are you trying to just shred and charge, or spin and jib? if the former, the 89 would be better. if the latter, 79 for sure. they're heavy, and like you said, you're tall but not big.
