I am just wondering what are the things called that are almost like external lens for your camera where they are just like a small extension you plug into your camera and can film with them instead of using the actual camera. like for follow shoots and stuff, because i cant find them any where...

i think what would be better if like snowboarding riders just stuck to one filming crew and filmed seriously with them the entire year without having any conflicts with filming for other people.
