Warranty them. Salomon binders have a warranty of like 3-5years depending on the model and they are usually pretty cool and fast with their warranties so.....Do it, get a new pair or new heel piece and call it a a day!

If it looks like persimmon but with an iridium coating, it might be the hi-intensity persimmon lens they sold ya. Both the g30 and blue iridium lenses dont look like the orange persimmon at all, they are much darker.

Its the exact same as the blue iridium, but more purple-ish. Both have a light transmission index of 30 (=lets 30% of the light in). Sorta like the pink iridium lens(light transmission index of 57) but for sunnyer days.
