the superfeet will raise you heel a little bit giving you more ankle support and will pull your toes back from the front of the boot a little bit too, so yeah it makes your foot a little bit smaller inside the boot i definately recommend them

169 for you is way too short for you for a pow ski, your park ski should be around 169 and if your going to get hellbents you definately need a 179, it will ride much better in the powder
