the gardens its off 4500 south, big park, LOTS of jib options, u might have to share but no cops the U of U campus is good too, up by the hospital, no tickets for anyone I know. they just tell you to leave, or ask if your a student.

somebody just needs to invent skis that can float over the ground. then its never icey, and you can ski all year long, but I guess crashing would hurt more.

those skis were about what for retail? 400? 450? so atleast half of that and the bindings. you could get anywhere from 250-300 or more I would say on ebay or craigslist. don't go easy, people will rip you off.

no. it shouldn't anyway. if you actually do some real skiing then your ski will naturally flex in a turn. almost the same as buttering to your ski, but probably even more pressure when your moving at high speed. if you properly mounted your ski with good bindings they won't rip out very often...
