    Liberty skis

I had some shit ass libertys the first year and they were crapola - I was definitely a hater back then - but i have to eat my words cuz theyre shitt is totally dope now. I ski on hazmats and they rock. The pow ski (i don't have it - would like a free pair please!) was called the best ever by...

    Liberty Warranty Issues

Always go straight to the source. Distributors and shit always have different economic motivations. Only the company has the real mtivation to help us riders out. Liberty is waayyy tight and totally on top of customer service issues. Like I have a binding pullout (my fault actually) ut they...

    Skis next year/ Liberty

Ya, the pro models are good, but the Hazmat totally rocks, and Freeskier mag called the Helix pow ski the best ski ever made. No joke. I did not ski it but Powder also propped it. I ski on a pro-deal Hazmat and it is the best ski eva, like sour amaretta.

Liberty hazmat to wide for park

LAWL, Liberty pwns it this year. I would definitely stay AWAY from any Liberty product more than 2 years old! But this year's stuff is totally bomb - and not just cuz Freeskier says so. I saw it at the Colo show, and it is freaking sweet. I think they must have changed their total production...

    New Liberty Site

they look pretty rad. Saw on Lesh's blog that Belanger had joined. Why did he leave 9-W? Freeskier says that Liberty is among the best skis made in the world today - pretty weird given that 3 years ago the crumbled under my mere 145 lb weight. If it's true it's pretty amazing. I need to go...

    Freeskiers buyer guide?

They done a good job this year. I have my doubts about Fatipus and Liberty being the 2 best skis in the world, but I give the small companies credit for totally stepping it up, especially Liberty. They are better than the big mass-produced shops and Freeskier deserves props for having the...

    Brand New Liberty Skis

Dude where did you get these - are they from the TTN link (that says avail in the fall). How much to ship to Florida? (I know not much skiing down here). Let me know where you got them - are they prototype or from the real production line? -TB

Rename "The Indy Five" - LINE is gone to conglomerate world

Actually our best margin from all skis comes from Liberty. Then Head, then Ninthward. You are right about Armada - very poor margins. Our shop likes to support them and other indies.

Rename "The Indy Five" - LINE is gone to conglomerate world

^^ actually we do make money on the indie skis for a simple reason: margin. The big guys like K2 and Salomon give us very little margin to play with, so any discounting comes out of our bottom line. The indies temd to give us much more margin (remember, we need a profit to stay in business -...

Rename "The Indy Five" - LINE is gone to conglomerate world

Now that LINE is gone, "The Indy Five" will have to get a new name! Armada, Liberty, 4FRNT and Ninthward will have to draft a new company to be in the Indy 5! Who will it be? Give your call as to who the new fifth company should be. I'd be interested in the responses for my shop. We Used to...

    Liberty Predator 160 vs K2 Fujative 159

Straight up, I support Liberty and think it's a great company. However, the Predators this year were very stiff and unless you're built like a convict, they won't be so good for you. My shop was shown a pair of next year's KGBs (160, 170, and 180 cm), and they rock. So from a shop kid that...

    Liberty Skis Vid

^ 'case is right on all these points. 1) The thread should die - let's hope I'm the last post 2) Liberty is indeed a good company with great customer service 3) Yup, they had a ski that escaped quality control or whatever and it was very very bad 4) the vid was funny (even if it was at...

    2007 liberty

Where (when?) can I get a Larose ski? It's not on the website. Those Frenchies can really spin, man. I have never seen a company go from bad to good so fast.

This thread is officially dead. It is now boring. Move on.

    Liberty Skis Vid

^^ Yeah, those are indeed my opinions, but I see more skis than probably all of you. I can assure you that kids come into the shop with broken skis from ALL brands, especially Line, Armada, and Rossignol. Yup, Libertys come back too, but we have never had a hassle with the company, who...

    Liberty Skis Vid

Ok, I watched the video for the nanosecond that it was up. I used to own that pair of skis (2 and a half years ago). They broke in half. They sucked. Liberty explained what had happened with their production and replaced them no question with new ones (white). They are great - I am still on...

    Liberty choppers

The choppers are insanely stiff - I demoed some in VT and they are a great ski, but really stiff. I haven't heard of any choppers going bad. The stealths were awesome this year.
