Ok, pretty much their are enough companies out there for you to not have to wear salomon boots... go into a ski shop that have the biggest selection around and spend 2 hours trying on boots.

yeah, precisely. i paid abouit 850-900 bucks for my hv20, that leaves 700 for a phat wide angle and a nice tripod... i might also invest in once of the cheap underwater housing bags to keep it protected from the snow :o)
As i said in the other thread... there are ways to make it more stable, then after that its all about how smooth your riding is.
i just saw the quality of the footage and made my decision straight away.

i adapted my tripod so that it is weighted and can use it as a giant handle, this has made it quite stable and i'm just waiting on a new 0.38x fisheye from ebay. Those together should be pretty nice i think.
