Ya, i know there are a lot of mechanical aspects that i don't have enough knowledge on. I just want someone who does have that knowledge to try and come up with new innovations. but i guess you're right about the edges ripping up the leather.

Here's a re-post: Has anyone else noticed that basic ski boot designs haven't really changed much over the last 30 years? Most of us are still riding in a hard plastic shell with 4 buckles. there are a few variations like SPK's and the raichle/ripcurl's, but for the most part-- ski boots...

don't know. i'm in the uvsc board club, but haven't heard anything. 2 yrs ago it was snowboarders only, and i wasn't tere last year. did they let skiers hit the jibs last year?

I have 3 pairs of skis I need to get mounted, but every shop in utah valley is charging around $30 / pair. I don't want to drop $90 on mounting. Anyone know where I can get it done cheaper?
