Ya, i know there are a lot of mechanical aspects that i don't have enough knowledge on. I just want someone who does have that knowledge to try and come up with new innovations. but i guess you're right about the edges ripping up the leather.

Has anyone else noticed that basic ski boot designs haven't really
changed much over the last 30 years? Most of us are still riding in a
hard plastic shell with 4 buckles. there are a few variations like
SPK's and the raichle/ripcurl's, but for the most part-- ski boots...
Hey if any college students need discounted season passes for Alta, Snowbird, Park City, or Canyons, let me know. After Oct. 31st, PC passes will go from $399 to $520. Alta passes- $499, Snowbird-- $360 (chairs), Canyons- $365.

don't know. i'm in the uvsc board club, but haven't heard anything. 2 yrs ago it was snowboarders only, and i wasn't tere last year. did they let skiers hit the jibs last year?

I have 3 pairs of skis I need to get mounted, but every shop in utah valley is charging around $30 / pair. I don't want to drop $90 on mounting. Anyone know where I can get it done cheaper?
