wow. thanks for all the replies. I really appreciate the help. He's super fast-- I'm trying to talk him in to getting in to the race scene, but right now he enjoys skiing the deep snow a lot better. I'll check out the TGR thread.

My brother was in a boating accident a year and a half ago, and lost his leg at the hip-- but he's already been killin it this season. He's dropping little cliffs, cruisin switch down groomers, and trying to do as much as he can on one ski. There have to be people out there who have broken one...

the only skier cross-type comp i know of is the canus loopus thing at the canyons-- more like chinese downhill, usually in feb. or march. tons of slopestyle comps at pc, canyons, brighton, sometimes snowbird-- check out the utah winter games website, and just keep checking the sites for each resort.
