They are stiffer. The Thruster are similar to the last year's 1080's but with a stiffer tail for pop.

1080 thruster with S810ti is the #1 selling twin @ the shop where I work. It's $599 with a S810 binding. It's a great park pipe ski which is way lighter then the pe and any ARV. For sure we are selling k2's and Armadas and scratch but the deal is with the Thruster for what you are getting.

Thursters are not the same ski as the 04 1080. They are way more poppier in the tail. It's a fun ski. Great package with a S810ti. I think is the best park ski out there.
