Titanium is light and brittle, esp in cold....IE Titanium breaks. The old steel tracks would have bent and been just as useless. Bring them into the shop you bought them from and warranty them and stop bitching.

If you really want to do it yourself for some strange reason then put them through a door jam. close the door to the point where the door and the jam support the grip. pull really hard till it falls off. Do this AFTER you soak them in hot water for a few min, and in a door that you don't care...

Taller edges = thicker base Wider edges = narrower base It's not that difficult for them to change that.

Chips and gouges don't matter unless they go to the core of the ski. A cap ski would have delaminated after that kind of damage by the way. They are also much more difficult to repair, IE: edge replacements.

It took an hour and a half to get 2 edges ripped out. we had a bigass hammer, ended up cutting most of it out. I'd say after that they'd hold up pretty well

If you didn't like Tangerine Dream and you like big mt....not so sure what you are going to like. That being said, Echo (Team 13) has some really good big mt. and hucks, and The Waiting Game looks really sick.

You can ski down to the bottom around the gondola liftline mid-season during a normal snow year. Problem is getting back to the parking lot. There used to be a bus that came through there a while ago.....no idea if it still is though. There's lots of good little secret stashes there though.

Best answer I've heard yet. But if you do decide you need them you have to talk to your local Salomon sales rep.....or have your Salomon shop order them for you. They are very expensive and VERY VERY heavy. But they don't break.

You'll see them in a lot more shops this season.
