Yeah I agree, go to the U. Closer to the mountains. But I've got some friends at Utah State, and they like it, but they're not skiers.

I agree it comes down to personal preference. I got last years JPs. I'm light, so I think a soft ski will be good for me. and getting last years skis is was cheaper. (THA 187s go for $550 I think, I got last year's JPs for $380, and if you know where to look you could probably get them for less)

I can't pick. Both movies had great music and editing. I was a little dissapointed because the HD trailer for SH6 was better quality than the actual DVD. I guess I should have realized that you can't get HD quality on a DVD but why make the trailer in HD, it's like false advertizing. But it was...

Can't wait for freeskier. I get Skiing mag too (it was free) but it's gay. The buyer's guide was all gay skis (racing crap, very few twin tips). So don't get that crap. Get Freeskier's. I'm sure you guys already know that, but just incase.

uhhhh.... in 2 months it'll be October. I don't know where you guys are skiing but every place I know of opens in November not October, 3 months, not 2. I hate to be the one to tell you guys the bad news.

With the new high speed lift that Snowbird's buiding there's no way I would pay $100 more for a tram pass.

Those were last season's prices, they've gone up, It's now $395 for PC. Anyway, When you get to the U join freeskiers club or talk to a rep from one of the ski resorts, they can hook you up with discounts. But PC is definately the cheapest if you get the discount.

1st I agree. I went to Brighton once last season with my boarder friends and I only saw a handful of skiers. 2nd Doesn't the U have like some Ski/Snowboard club, where you can organize rides. BYU does. I think that's your best bet.

Definately no snow in Utah. Even in the middle of the night it's still about 50 degrees up in the mountains. I'm going to Florida next week, I'll bring my skis and I'll check there.
