what format would i want to convert my t2i footage to, for editing in FCP at the highest quality. apple prores 422 for interlaced material HQ, or apple prores 422 for progressive material HQ muchos gracias

so I fooled around online for awhile and found canons video plug in for the 7d and 5d etc. and then i followed instructions to change the coding to allow the t2i (550D) to work as well. unfortunately i still cannot get it to work. when i try to log and transfer my files i get the error message...
