    Better boot fit...

You can buy heel spacers. They're like wedges that sit under your heel/liner. Also a custom sole might help a bunch too.

    Mute grab siloute

Find a picture of a silouette you like. And then fill it in using a photo editing program (photoshops good) or print it out, draw over it and scan it back in. Easy.

    360s

You're gonna struggle till you go off a park jump. You can do it on a very small park jump though. Just grow some balls. Practice on the flat without skis and commit. Its not that hard.

    Disappointed in the USFO course

This conversation comes up every year for the X-games and the US open. "The features are too easy and I could hit that"

    Snowboarder looking to start skiing

It's ther fit of used boots that's the problem . Only buy them if you've tried them on and fit like a glove. Go to a ski store and try on as many different boots as possible to find your ideal fit. They make a huge difference.

    Best Boots?

Try on as many boots as you possibly can. Make sure you get your feet measured properly by the guy in the shop. Try to find a shop with knowledgable staff as that's really important too. A sticky with basic parameters for what a good range of stiffnesses/features that are good for freestyle...

Twin tip skis with good carving ability? do they exist?

Line used to make some all mountain skis with twin tips- I think they were called the assasins? Or salomon 1080s- the space frame ones were pretty good at carving.

Never been so down from a day of skiing

Just have fun and get progressing. We all have to start somewhere. Chances are you'll be better than most of the boarders in a day or two. Ignore what people think.
