Any of yall hit tyrol's new big air?

Yup, it's pretty smooth. The take-off is so big that it takes the whole slope to get speed to make it over. Not recommended for the weak at heart....or newbie. The big lip is the scene for some fabulous crashes.

    bindings

For insurance purposes, no shop will set them higher than a din of 8.0. And yes, you may need to go higher than a 10 if you are going huge or fast. If you ride salomon, you will need to crank them up because they pre-release a lot.

anybody got info/review on Rossi Bandit

well, I can attest to this question because I have ridden bandit X, XX, and I now own Volkl Vs and Candides. I loved my Bandit X last year (they are exactly the same this year). It was very stable at speed, good in powder, the edges bit down into ice, and they spun pretty well. The 15mm tail...

    Concepts

did you ever think money was part of that deal? also, if you are a pro, you should be able to jib with anything. as long as it's a twin, it really doesn't matter all that much what you ride.

    riding whitout poles!

Don't ride without poles, it's lame. They add stability and enable you to actually ski....something everyone should learn how to do.

    Bindings

If nothing has worked, get a pair of Look ZR. I doubt you could ever break them. They are all metal, no plastic. By the way, what are you doing to the bindings? Unless you are actually slamming the bindings directly onto the rail, they shouldn't break. What do your skis look like?

    Poll: 2003 Concepts vs. 2002 Candide's

I have only skied Candides, but they are awesome. I like the graphics better on the Candides.

    To skier teachers

So you work there, and they are charging you to take a class to better your teaching skills? That's a crock. You are getting ripped off.

    Everyone with Twins

You'll start to see even more people with them soon. A bunch of popular non-twins have turned up tails now too. Remember when people (I guess now still) de-tuned tails to disengage their turn earlier, well, a tiwn does basically the same thing. Don't worry if people suck and have twins, just...

    center mounting

What is with all of you not wanting to put your boot in the center of the sidecut? I have skied on boards both ways, and mounting them more center makes them ski worse. Are you that concerned with not being able to rotate or do rails? I have learned rails using 195cm straight skis. Put your...

    War (Rant)

Hey flanker, I was going to write the same thing. Using soldiers is WAY different than starting a draft. This is their job, and they will be putting their talents to use. Do you people realize that our equipment, more than ever, is automated? Loss of US life is not going to be a factor. Am...

    Bush....LOL

Some of you say that rich white kids with unintelligent fathers don't have a clue about what they are talking about. How about the rich white kids in the suburbs that claim they feel the pain of the poor and unfortunate? Funny. Also, do you ever notice how liberals 'cater' to the poor, yet...

Scott USA skis, are they good?

I just talked to a guy this weekend, and he skied some scotts. He said one edge ripped off on the 4th day. The tops don't look all that bad, and only one of his edges are intact after not a lot of riding. Pretty shitty if you ask me.

    homeland security

I agree with you and Franklin's quote. However, I do not believe that we are giving up a fundamental liberty. Nor do I believe that our impecable forefathers (or anyone) could have had the foresight into what has become of our world. If that quote also always held true, it would apply to...

    homeland security

Whoa...slow down fellas. Now you are equating Bush to Hitler? Take a second and look at what's going on. We have a state in this country where people are getting scared, maybe it's not very grounded, but people ARE scared. This stared with 9-11 and was exemplified with the sniper problem...
