depending on how bad the tear is a torn meniscus can keep you from walking or just be a simple nuisance. you have two meniscus' [menisci?], the lateral and medial. both of these only receive blood supply to the outer rings of the meniscus. so a tear will only repair itself if it is in an area...

i would try rubbing alcohol or warm soapy water first.

but they wouldn't be so clear where the wall isn't showing... i.e. around the vents up top where you can clearly see the foam that separates the double lens.

minor correction here.. almost all of oakley's lenses have an iridium coating to reduce glare.. the 3 with iridium in the name are more reflective than the others [fire, black and pink].. i also have a pair with pink iridium lenses and they are much more reflective than the pictured goggle...

I'm going to have to go with H.I. Persimmon... pink iridium is more reflective (all the iridium lenses are very reflective).. the only other option I see is G30 which has a similar coloring to the hi persimmon but is a bit darker...

after 90 full days on the snow a skis core is considered done... that is a ski has lost it's intended flex pattern and no longer returns energy. That being said, a pair of well used skis can still be a lot of fun for buttering and such, but they would be much different than a new ski designed...

fischer has been doing something similar in their boots for a long time... i think it's called soma-tec or something like that. inside the boot your feet are held at a slight duck stance. basically humans are not made with feet that point straight forward when relaxed. without thinking about it...

The biggest gripe about gear swap is that it isn't a collection of individuals... it seems that it is more retail sellers selling either cheap, unsold or unwanted gear at 20-30% off. I don't want to sort through tons of adds of returned stuff at almost retail prices just to find the several...

USPS is by far the best... you can ship skis super cheap. Also, I have never had a package with USPS priority mail take longer than UPS or Fedex ground. Most of the skis I have shipped were with bindings... I averaged around $20 with USPS and $30 with UPS.
