Hey, I'm flying to SD to visit some buddies the first weekend of January and was wondering if Bear and/or Summit have enough snow for it to be worth the drive up there or not??

a-basin is only sick if there is a shitload of snow and the east wall is open. go to vail and hit blue sky basin, go to winter park and hit mary jane, go to breck and hike peak 7 & 8, go to copper and hike copper bowl...just to name a few options

i've got the 6/4 puffy in red. it's sick, but soooo warm!

breck has several booters in two different areas, a few rails and boxes, a mini-pipe, and the super-pipe. last time i went to keystone (last week), all they had were a bnuch of rails and boxes, but the jumps looked very close to being finished. not sure if they opened this weekend or not.
