I know about the risks, I did last year an avalanche camp and in the alps i mostly go off pist and hike anywhere to find a good freeride spot...

we don´t wanna make a backcountry tour. Just looking for some good spots for Freeriding where you can get by the ski lifts. If I´ve to hike half an hour it´s ok too. the problem is not to get down, rather than to get back to the lift station ;)

Whistler sounds great, when will be the best time to go there to have good snow and less people? (of course in winter ;) ) Last season I´ve heard that it was really warm there... And what about Vail?
