they're all red z916 labs with the pointless metal connecting rod in between. don't know why it's even there, and i prefer seperated two piece bindings usually, but it doesn't look like it makes a shred of difference in the performance of the binding, plus it was too good a deal to pass up...

916's are gonna be a lot easier to work with just because of the wide brake convenience. if you get fks you'll have to bend which isn't the easiest thing in the world. i'm almost exactly the same size as you and i went with 914's for my bacons after i decided to say fuck it to bending fks...

i'm sure it costs BANK to fly straight into telluride. probably your best bet is to fly into the Grand Junction airport and then go south from there. it's probably 4 hours or so from GJ depending on weather.
