liquor stores don't sell 50L kegs. Its gonna run you around 160 depending on where you get it from.

Find a local brewery. You shouldn't need a license though, atleast here in BC. Maybe it's different over there in QC. When I purchase kegs they just take a photocopy of my id for the liquor agency or something if it is needed + a credit card for deposit. I just had 5 kegs last weekend, so...
