Japan has great powder skiing. I would say that Japan is like a cat skiing operation. This year I have skied 20 days of those days 100% of the time I have skied untracked powder. This place is just crazy. Yes you have to duck ropes but the rewards are great. P.S. JAPAN HAS SICK POWDER
