to add, the majority of locals at alta arent people who ride switch in the first place.

basically all the power to change the resort is from the individuals who provide the source of funds for the resort to operate. these individuals are the tourists, not the locals.the opinion of the local is second to the opinion of the tourist, because resorts DONT PROFIT FROM LOCALS.
