how soft are blends? in comparason to anthems? or ar6s maybe?

yeah i am looking to save money so im not lookin at 09s... yet. although those new blends do look sick. i'm leaning towards the anthems becuase i can find a better buy on them but i just dont know how they'd stay up in the deeper snow, especially if they were center mounted. i'd get the 178s...
