If you get the silencers I would go with 179. I have the 169 PE's and I am 5'10 and I wish I had a longer ski. By the way I recommend the silencers over the PE's mine have not held up very well.

I have the PE I do not like them at all. The bullet rivet things at the top came out and they seem pretty stiff for me. Just my opinion though. Foils I think are a really good overall ski though.
