p.s. trendy isnt unique or progressive.
they feel very different. but jumping on skates will help your on skis. and grinding on skate will improves foot coordination and make you more aware of small movements with your feet, wich can help while skiing.

they flex the exact same as the 08 invader, at least in your hands(i havent actually rode 08 invaders).
I have never skied on anything before over 90 in the waist that is good for rails, but they are.
