    Skiing too fast?

i like our ski patrol for the most part. i dunno, on the topic of going to fast, there cool at least. when it comes to out of bounds and avy stuff, their serious as fuck, but they should be. yeah, me and my friends got to the top of our mountain, totally first, no one. straight no one. no pow...

    Jp v juliens, gotama

word of advice. my 179 pistols...are ridiculously soft, and short. im like 5'11 and 160lbs, and ski really well, and i juts cant get over them. i heard from so many people how good of an all mountain ski they were, but when im charging or just skiing fast, they chatter and feel unstable to me. i...

    Jp v juliens, gotama

no i shant. i know my big mountain stuff very well. i doubted the kid who made the thread wanted a pure charging ski like an igneous, bsquad, some capitals, head 105 etc. i made an assumption off his description that he still liked to mess around, so i thought twin. suggestions i would recommend...

    Jp v juliens, gotama

i was mainly talking about what you said, that gotamas are stiff for kids on this sight. i hate it when people say like "karmas are pretty stiff" or things like that. the skis you listed, those are stiff, and i love those skis. such a good list you have goin. but yeah, i dunno how this kid skis...

    Jp v juliens, gotama

dont listen to this guy. total bullshit. gotamas are pretty stiff for a twin, specially in a 190. the 183 is a great flex for all mountain, and the 190 for bigger people and/or more big mountain type of stuff. but yeah, gotamas...pretty stiff. juliens are not at all.

It doesnt get more "rich white kid" then this

so im a tad confused. first off, why would you have two pairs of the same goggles. that makes no sense to me. secondly, why do you have a heli pack. you ride all park it looks like to me. im confused as to why you need a heli pack when your in the park. and thirdly, why do you have three...

    Fat skis vs thin skis

i like fat skis. but i dunno, the super fats...i gotta grow to like em. i can see them definitly in pow and stuff, the 120mm and shit like that, i just cant imagine skiing those anywhere but like heli deep powder and stuff like that. For me, and for the type of terrain my mountain offers, id...

    Telemarking

to bad your flat out wrong. pretty much opposite end of the spectrum wrong. tele bindings are nothing like alpine. yea, my springs are super stiff because i like to charge and go fast. but no spring on the market keeps your boot close to your ski like an alpine does. when you think about it...

    ARV's of VCT's for Sale??

ARVs are no big mountain ski. they have almost the same tip as the JP Juliens, and a 92 waist, compared to their 101 or 103. its soft too. very flexy. it kills the all mountain/crud...all that shit, but true big mountain; its not gonna hold up very well.

    Landis on Drugs

no wonder you ski so good!

    Pontoon and ARG??

exactly. the progression of skiing is not just switch everything. people are constantly pushing the limits and boundaries of big mountain skiing, and to accomodate for that, they make skis that help them do that. just like when people first made twin tips, to accomodate for switch landings. now...

One or the Other, PLEASE REPLY!!!

heres a pretty good review. the BC is going to beat out the AK Enemy in the all mountain division. its more made for that then the Enemy. not saying the enemy wouldnt do well, just the BC is a proven fat all mountain/powder ski. get this in the longest length. i cant remember what it is at the...

thats a confirmatory for the Alaska report. i went out to build a backyard jib and we have about 8 inches in our backyard. the mountains are getting hammered though.
