ive just washed my jacket after some pretty heavy mcdonalds stains, it went in a hot wash cos it wasnt coming out. will scotchguard re waterproof it for me or would it need a more suited product like nikwax???

any of those would be absolutely perfect for you, i dont know the price but the prophet 90 would probably suit your bill too. your basically looking for something with around a 100mm waist.

they do change things, but you can just remove the lifter plates and shorten the bolts making them the same as the jibs.

it depends on your skiing style, if the armadas suit your style then keep them, but if you want a more all mountain ski, then sell them to your friend (he'll be getting a pretty good deal for $300)

ok, thanks for that- only thing is if i was getting two pairs i didnt want to go with this seasons, as it would be too expensive. im really looking at spending not too much over $700 all in- and cheaper is better when ive got other ski equipment to buy as well.

yeah maybe its best to concerve your money as its gonna be hard to find a ski that will make yo good at park more than the scratch- i think maybe you should be looking more towards your technique/style than a new pair of skis. if you are really hell bent on getting new ones id say armada...

dont know if this will help but they're the same measurements as last years bc's, i dont know if any internals have changed though. id check reviews of last years bc's and go from there...

its not cheap buying ski stuff in europe (especially uk) everyone seems to think its fine paying £500 for skis ($1000)- i suppose its aimed at a different crowd here- posh middle agers who drive to the slopes in the bentley....

id say that sound liek a good deal if theyre your size etc, also it depends on what bindings come with them... they may be quite old but they were a solid ski

although your very light, id say something around 170 would be perfect- i guess they dont make them in that size? (as always)

thanks a lot so far, its just a case at looking at how much i can get each ski for, and seeing if the price is reflected in the quality and watnot. anyone else want to throw their ideas/opinions in the mix?
