I think Pep's switch true tail straight airs are more styley than spins. It is way more techy than spinning, especially over a big jump. It might not be as exciting for the judges to give him the highest scores but it still impresses the hell out of me.

The PEs are going to be hard to find, but there is a second shipment that will go out sometime this month.

The Public Enemy that is out now will not change for fall of 2003. It is considered an early release for the 03/04 season. K2 is working on a new graohic for the next version of the PE ski and the Seth Pistol for that matter, but you will not be able to get either ski until 04 at the earliest.

Morrison was out there with Biollo, McMurray and the MSP crew dropping every cliff on the ridge. When they left it was totally tracked out and all used up.

It's the new tip shape that makes them look even wider. The front and rear contact point is where the dimensions of the ski are taken even if the ski continues to get wider toward the tip. All companies have a different way to measure the dimensions of their skis.

Seth has been slaying rails on them all season and last year too.

We did test the skis in our lab before they were sent out to the shop. The test uses a machine to flex the ski until it snaps the core. The ski is more resistant to breakeage than the Enemy when they were tested.

Pep's ski didn't break because he flexed them, that's bullshit.

Now that the ski has a vertical sidewall we had to go with a stiffer flex than the Enemy, but when you ski it, it feels softer. The ABS sidewall really changes the flex characteristics.

It is pretty cool to read through this chain and see that people take note and understand what K2 is doing.
