Snowboarding will never look as cool as skiing because the grabs just aren't as cool. Twekaed out mutes, tails, truck drivers, etc...skiing grabs just look sicker.
Bump.
I've looked all over NS. I don't even have to see a vid. I just want to know what Vanular did in his winning slopestyle run at USFO. I know he started out with a 630 on and then he did some flips? Was that a joke? Someone please post a full summary of his run!
But Gagnier was 2nd in the US Open Big Air last weekend with a switch misty 12....not all about the cab 10. Jump was probably too small for that trick though....
War and Teddybear Crisis blow Hit List away, in my opinion. For past movies, I really like X, Session 1242, and Focused. The first two are from Poorboyz and Focused is MSP like Hit List.
Seems like a cycle. Huge spins were in and inverts were out but soon everyone will switch to doing inverts again and people will hate them and wish for switch 10's.
Armada. Better team and better skis.
Pollard's good, but the US Open results speak for themselves:
Superpipe - Tanner (Armada)
Slopestyle - Vanular
Big Air - Schiller (Armada)
Girls' Slopestyle - Grete (Armada)
Girls' Superpipe - Sarah
And twintip13: Boronowski is not the worst sponsored...
I have no problem with someone winning a comp with a switch 10 like TJ's. It's just that I'd like to see some more variation in the tricks being thrown across the board - 24 out of 40 jumps were switch 10's. Maybe the jump was too small and that could have partly been the cause.
But what...
If you don't care what kind of skiing you're watching, then just watch the Olympics. I wanted to see some slopestyle on the only day it's televised live all year.
