im from michigan and i am going to be starting at utah state this fall. anyone else go there? ive never skied utah before, only colorado, but my roomate is a snowboarder from park city, which is a plus.
everybody has to start somewhere. this is only my second year skiing, at at the beggining of the season i could barely even grab my ski, now im working on a 540. i was called a poser early on, and now i am better than that kid who called me one. so dont be so quick to call people posers.
how does the flex index or rating work on a boot? when comparing boots to be used for jumping, what is an ideal flex rating, and which boots are the best.

i was interested in getting this years 1080s. from some i heard they kick ass, and others i have heard they suck because they break easily and they are overpriced. so, what do you guys think?
yeah, i was just out there today, it was horrible, the jumps are run down, and the rails blow. has anyone seen the orange beetle they put in the park? what a joke!
