well the alpine is only open on weekends, and that doesnt stay open that long but you should be alright.

You would be better coming in may ( if you can ) when you can ski the whistler spring park.

you should be find for line ups at the time, and hopefully the park will be better with all the snow but its not going to be anything great.

I have the tactical pants and there pretty good, not bad for water proofing the only problem is on cold days the wind kind of goes through them.
