Hi guys , i got a seriuìous question for everyone is a good backcountry skier. I'm planning to go to Alaska for a few days. I'm got a pair of K2 seth vicious 180. My question is...do you think they can be a good ski for Alaska or should i consider to buy something different (stiffer) for that...

So finally i tested the skis. The are not bad at all for all mountain use! they hold great edge also on slopes (it was quite icy indeed). In park they are great and they flex the best (a very "round" flex) I'm very glad of my choice. Thanks to all helped in this thread

Finally i got my stl 177... it's quite soft indeed but this week-end i'll try them so i i'll have a feedback for next week. thanks for help

Ok, so tomorrow i'll close my eyes and get them....to tell the truth i'm not completely convinced about them, maybe ar5 would be better for what i need but i wanna try something softer this year and considering i'm a good skier and don't wight too much they would work ok....i hope

So u think that if I can ski good, even if the ski is a soft it can perform well outside the park...right?? As all mountain i mea especially groomed or hard pack, not powder at all...i got seth vicious for powder days
