    Single Ski?

i've got a single spatula, but it'll cost you 175. After you're done testing your snow bike you can mount it up with some slalom bindings and go waterskiing

    Skis similar to prophet 130

the fat-y-pus a-lotta's have gotten bad reviews, how a 170mm tipped ski can tip dive is beyond me, but they do. G-funkenstein is not a normal shape. Sumos are supposedly availble in a longer size this year, awesome. Eric's pro model for 4frnt is pretty wide, zero camber (which i think is...

    Laws of physics... forget it

it's actually nothing like sky diving, in sky diving you're using your drag to push you in certain directions/spin, change your body position, change the way drag affects you. Read what you wrote, 'unless acted upon by an equal or greater force' I certainly didn't see a greater force working on...

Closest to beach and surf but still close to skiing.

Southern california is the closest as posted above, but the skiing sucks. Last spring we skied powder in Tahoe, waterskiing in Stockton and finished up the day with head high surf in Santa Cruz. I don't think you can beat Northern California for 'water' sports

    Laws of physics... forget it

It's called angular momentum. Your anuglar NET momentum is constant in the are, unchangable. However, through arm swings and leg kicks you can translate this angular momentum into your limbs, thus decreasing it's affects on the trunk. Say pep leaves the ground with a Net angular momentum of...

    Hell Yeah BROs!

just pulled the trigger on some 188 stiffs and some naxo21's, should make the perfect touring setup/everyday patrol ski. Having skied both the 188 softs and the 188 stiffs. They softs are stiffer than sv's, but that's not saying a whole lot. Probably the smart buy for most. I'm 6'2 190 and...

I work at a houseboat camp, i've been know to do a little waterskiing and have found wakeboarding to be the easiest sport i've ever tried

    Hell Yeah BROs!

I'll be getting the 188 stiffs as a touring set-up for next season. Had a chance to ski the softs and stiffs. Fun skis, and super sturdy for such a light weight ski

Shane's pontoons - crazy binding mount

^very, true, i was thinking the same thing. But the potential improvements of being in a more anatomical position are huge, significant strength gains can be had with slight tweaks to biomechanics. Could be a potentially huge advancement in skiing, why we are stuck thinking our toes must be...

    Avalanche Class

Took the Backcountry awareness clinic at Kirkwood, pretty informative, good to have some in the element teaching, and digging a pit.

spats can still be had for fairly cheap

    Mounting foils

I would suggest the reccomended, I went +2 on mine and kinda regret it. The suggested mark is already fairly far enough forward, leave em there so you still have plenty of tip.

    Why wouldnt you get twin-tips?

BC touring? extra weight. It's a little one, and my AT set up now and likely my next will have at least a raised tail (I like it for billy-goating, and will admit they look cooler). But for hard core BC skiers lugging that extra weight up the hill is pointless.

    Bc skins

first thing to learn, the BC is not cheap to start out. You need a beacon, shovel and probe at a minimum, if you want to skin you'll need skins and trekkers (or AT binders). Trying to hike up hill without a free heel is nearly impossible. If you buy skis Get them for you seth viscous, why...

Help me straighten out my quiver for next year

193 big daddy, I know it's not a twin, but if you really want a fast arcing ski, lays down those figure 11's. If you want to land switch in pow use your sv's. I'd say get the pontoons (I'm guessing you're still at mammoth). I bought spats last year, best decision ever, makes the anticipation...
