its all about the pistols, the prs are noodle and great for powder, light to carry, but aren't great on anything outside powder. i'd go with pistols

in the park there really isn't a fog problem, its just hiking and skiing hard all day on a powder day. and yeah wearing less clothing is an option except that on one particular bc country outing that would have meant hypothemia, it was cold enough at -14 with a good deal of frozen clothing on...

according to my roomie that has skied both the pistols are a better ski, but he likes skis that are a bit narrower from tip to tail. the vicious is a bit beefer than the pistols, personally i'd go for the pistols but then again i'm only a 5'1 girl
