There is a reason that Volkl Gotamas, and Volkl Mantras are so popular here. A good ski for Crested Butte is the Seth pro model. I don't know your riding style...

I would say that Benchetler adds a lot of the already sick Atomic team. Salomon too. With the Twins (Sammy and Simon) the rest of their cast, pretty dang solid all around too. Douglas, and Abma holding it down on the big mtn.

You could definitely get the lens that basically every action sports photog has, the 70-200L F2.8. The 10-22mm would come in handy for super wide angle shots

I know, weird concept but has anyone thought about rockin' some instrumental bluegrass while skiing? I know there may not be the consistent beat like there is with hip hop, but it could work. If you do decide that this would be worthwhile, I suggest some Tony Trischka. Made my day.

I work as a liftie at CB, it's not too bad except I'm doing 5 days a week and you don't get to ski during the day except for on your break which is at the most 1.5 hours. The pay blows actually, but the associates pass is almost worth it because it's basically a free season pass to 13 resorts.
