You can use those^ but also just go to mountains websites and check out their event calendar. Usually the bigger more popular mountains are going to have more/larger events through out the year.

i would say mount them on the line. 4frnt only has one mounting line, not a midsole and center line, because their line is where the ski should be mounted to perform it's best. i was skeptical of this when i got tnks last year, but they were money and i was used to skiing a symetrical park ski...

X Games is an invite only contest. I'm sure Tom would jump on the opportunity if he had it, but I'm pretty positive that an X invite is based around competition results. While he did take 2nd at Aspen Open last year, I doubt that he will be invited to X this year for one podium at a decent sized...
