I will take a stab at this one...for the most part alot of skiers come from wealthy upbringings....and most wealthy people are conservative...liberalism is strongly linked with socialism...which in the end boils down to redistribution of wealth....why would the wealthy want to give up thier hard...

Hands down Spyder makes some the of the best stuff...I just got a new pair of pants....I wonder if they will replace them when they get destroyed? Probably not...but Marmot, Spyder, and Patagonia make the best shit...all these new school brands may make cool looking stuff but they can't touch...

Yeah but it would be so easy to make a "freedom Plate" that would accomodate Rossi and Look bindings....this is what I want so that I can use the PX/Axial2 bindings
