that's what i was thinking. you also wouldn't want a binding that's got too large of a heel piece. you wouldn't want a rossi for example. maybe one of the cheep plastic salomon ones.

my question isnt really about filming or budgets. It's mainly about snowboarding making a trick popular again. Skiers know what a hand plant and a wall ride are, but you dont see them in the media until boarders make it the fad again. Why cant skiers be the first to make it trendy again?

So, I actually had a dream about this trick the other night once you grab with the hand that's the closest to the back binding, you release the boot. do something cool with the ski. i.e. sack tap then put the boot half way into the binding. when you stomp the trick, you basically click back...

it almost seems too obvious to be coincidence. but, you can always figure out what next years cover shots on ski mags will be by looking at this years snowboard mags. my examples are, a few years back (around community project) handplants on terrain park barrels were the popular snowboard...
