Park Skis: Wide vs Narrow & Stiff vs Soft

Thanks! That's good feedback. I do love flying down runs, and in MN it's always icy, so the Walls would be better for those conditions. But, there isn't much vertical drop here either, so even when I'm not skiing park I spend a lot of time just messing around finding little jibs and stuff...

Park Skis: Wide vs Narrow & Stiff vs Soft

Wide vs Narrow & Stiff vs Soft Alright, I'm looking for some feedback here on the pros and cons of each characteristic. Basically I'm trying to decide between Volkl Walls and Line Anthems for next season and I'm having a hard time debating the merits of stiff vs soft and wide vs narrow...

    TURBO TEASER ONLINE

Just pre-ordered mine. Now we wait... I hope Ahmet and Vanular got some good footage despite the injuries.

    Pro's who "fell-out"

I wouldn't be surprised to see him doing that...

    Vanular

Yeah, I read that too. It wasn't clear if he's injured again, or still recovering from those in the past. Man I hope he can get heathly and put all of these injuries behind him!

    Volkl Walls or Line Anthems?

Yeah, the Fujitives have a super noodly nose and tail, but they're rather stiff under foot. Which is fun for a while, but I agree with other people's accounts of them loosing camber. And, I'm just tired of them flopping around at high speeds when I just feel like cruising. And they can't hold...

    Volkl Walls or Line Anthems?

How soft is the Anthem compared to the Fujitive? Any comparison between the two would be helpful.

Any difference between the 07 and 08 fujatives?

Yep, the Fujitives are all the same, except for the graffics. Pep's 08/09 model, the Kung Fujas, is a totally new ski. Much wider, and intedned as an all-mountain ripper, not a park specific ski. http://www.untracked.com/p2499c51b37-09_k2_kung_fujas_all_mountain_freeride_skis.html...

    Volkl Walls or Line Anthems?

I'm debating between those two skis myself. I currently have Fujitives, which are too soft in my opinion for outside of the park. I'm curious whether the extra width of the Anthem counter-acts the softness. I'm kind of leaning towards the Walls at this point. I'd also assume that any...

    Eclipse Segment from REALTIME...

I'm really pumped for Turbo! I really hope they have a trailer out soon. And I really liked the music in Realtime, especially the track they used for the urban segments in Denver.

That was one of my personal favorites back in the day, those and cossacks.

Vanular is like skiing worlds version greg lutzka

Urban? That would be insane... In the park, he nails them in LSS and Show & Prove.

Vanular is like skiing worlds version greg lutzka

Yup, that's what I meant. I read somewhere once that he attributed that style to Clarke, but I must say he really has perfected the switch steeze.

    Jon's Lamborghini

I've never heard it pronounced that way either. And your right, almost no one in the US pronounces Gallardo correctly.

    Park bindings

Yeah, those suck. I have them too. I've gone through 8 sets of brakes this season. What a waste.

Yeah, C-van is definitely one of my favorite skiers. He's got got such sick style. His switch landings in LSS are disgusting. And those 540 shifties... the list goes on and on. I hope he's able to put together a solid segment for Berman this year!
