I'm not worried, just curious. I always want to know more about ski equipment, and at this point, petty crap like this seem to be the things that I don't know. I think it is supposed to be permanent b/c it wraps all the way around the hinges.
no, I am not a retard. They are unlifted, I bought them with that in mind. It is just a small rubber thing that wraps around the back side of the heal peice, just behind the cup (thing you step on) of the heelpeice.
I bought the PX 12 SMU off SAC and planned on mounting myself to a pair of home-mades. Then I got to wondering if it was something the shop was supposed to take off when mounting. Anybody know?
they are good if u are light (b/c of the foam core). they will ski pow similar to how the CR's will, but by no means ideal. I'd keep em' in the park, because if ur a 1 ski quiver guy, you want to look somewhere else.
kills the integrity. Then when you pop out switch, you bent the arms super quick. Plus heating them means melting plastic. (yeah, i know ur gonna say "you welded it," the that was just a quick tac)
