Ok one last question: Are the two skis about the same stiffness?

I could care less about how they ski on the groomers. I'm just worried about trees, and crud, and variable snow when there isn't too much of the fresh stuff.

I'm not worried about size at all. I'm confident enough in my abilities to handle a 186. That's not what I'm asking. I just want to know if the Donner Party is going to be versatile enough to be a second ski to the Reno Rockers, and it's not looking like it from the responses.

How can you say that they are the best choice? The only thing similar about them is the fact that they are symmetrical, and they will perform much differently. If you want playfulness on rails and such, go for the invaders; if you want a bit more stability on jumps, go with the walls (generally).

I have never ridden PX bindings, but I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Jester. They perform exactly how I want them to.

Well the EP's are SUPER soft, and unless you're looking for a really playful pow ski, they aren't going to be the ski for you.

I was 5'5" when I bought last year's 169 Seth's and they were too short. They were a second pair, so they didn't have to be my park ski, but after a couple months, I was wishing for the stability and increased powder performance of the 179.
