^Dude, I don't know where you get your info from, but you need to stop believing the hype. IT'S NOT A MARKER. That binding was created and designed in Italy from scratch at Nordica. The rights to it were then sold to VIST accross the street, again, in Italy. Marker's are produced in Germany...

The MSP is an all-mountain twin that skis well in the park. The STL is a narrower model aiming for a slopestyle-type performance.

Once again, the bindings are not heavy, they're actually quite light in comparrison. And $10 mil may seem like alot, but Nordica had to start from scratch, equip., factory, R&D, etc. There is way more start-up fees building a binding, so be glad they spent as much as they did.
