    short poles

I think everyone has the tendency to hunch a little bit if their poles are too short. I ski with 48"s (I'm 5'10"), and sometimes I wish I had 50"s because I feel myself slouching. If your poles get in the way when jibbing or whatever, checkout some carbon fiber poles, see if you like the feel more.

Line prophet 110 vs. head supermojo 105s

Skis are not even remotely similar. Prophets are floppy ass park skis, supermojos are stiff big mountain chargers, though not as staff as the 103s.

Why Is Sage Cattabriga getting a pro model?

Try keeping with Sage in the resort sometime, just for a run. Then you will understand how ridiculously good he is.

Name the Park skiers who can actually ski?

Saying you ski all park because there is nothing better on the east coast is a lame excuse. I grew up skiing the ec, and spent almost all my time outside the park (not racing or anything). I can tell you that it absolutely makes you a better skier, and makes it easy to adjust to bigger terrain...

    Mounting ANTs

I have mine mounted at recommended, and personally I think they are a little too far forward. Then again, I went for the older stiffer ones hoping they could really rip big mountain lines, so I probably ski differently than you. If I were to remount I would go -2 maybe -3 from recommended...

Cheap skiing in Chile or Argentina

Honestly, I would ignore almost all the advice given so far, I dont know where people are getting this info, but it is all wrong. First, Argentina is way cheaper than Chile. Argentina's economy crashed in '02 and they are till recovering. Most things are cheap (wine, food, lodging), but imports...

Whats the gnarliest thing you did this season?

That line is elevator. It fills in a bit more and gets wider, and a little less steep. That line is at its best with a low base (lower than we had mid-March), b/c it gets very narrow. Its a fun one cuz it looks scary, but its short enough that you can straightline out, and not worry about...

Whats the gnarliest thing you did this season?

Hrmm... 45 footer to flat maybe. That hurt, knee to face. 1.5 lincolns off the 2nd stage of a high speed double stager, clipped a rock.

    New-Zealand VS Whistler (in summer)

    Why skiing is great

I just wanted to say this thread is awesome, such a great way to share stoke on skiing. I really like getting deep into a carve, especially in pow, when you can feel your arm right up against the ground.

    Sir francis bacon or elizabeth?

EP Pros. You wont be able to actually ski on lizzies or bacons, so you might as well go all out.

    Fks155 vs fks185

Yeah I just looked around and the 155 and 185 are identical, I was thinking that the 155 is the same design as the axials.

    Fks155 vs fks185

I am not 100% on this, but Im pretty sure that 155s and 185s are completely different. The 185s have the full pivot healpiece and are made entirely of metal. 155s are not as well made (more plastic) and have a crappier healpiece.

    Cliff hucking....

Most of these park skiers dont know a thing about hucking, so take the advice given here with a grain of salt... The two most important things in my mind are 1) hands forward and 2) always pop. Both will be scary off big cliffs, but they are definitely necessary.
