FYI, you can buy a set of three Atomic bindings for the Trips and spread out the wear or mix and match. Also, they are incredibly lightweight, not bulky at all. Go to a shop and just pick up ANY Atomic, they are easily the lightest skis on the market, not to mention the most durable.

You're probobly refering to warrenties. If you break your skis due to a manufacturing defect, you can return them for a new pair. If your skis are not in production anymore, sometimes you can pay a little extra to upgrade.
