    FRUSTRATION!!!!

if one of our techs fucks up a customers skis (not purchased in the shop) the tech eats it. we've only blown one mount in the three years ive been there, and it was a naxo binding that we didnt have the template for, and the guy bought them off ebay and the paper template that should have been...

Have skis, have bindings, dont know what to do with them.

haha those bacons are my babies. i get the sneaking suspicion that outside of using the ghettos in the pipe, my other skis will see a lot of neglect

    Boot fit problems - shinbang

when you flex the boot, are you flexing the whole upper, or is the back of the cuff staying in place? if the cuff is staying in place, v cuts will help let you get better flex out of the boot. but before doing that (as its permanent) pad the tongue and give that a try.

    Mounting Point Help - S5

i have mine mounted -3 or -4 from center, its been awhile since i mounted them. either way, in that ballpark rules, theres just enough tip to prevent them from diving but balanced enough to spin on

Have skis, have bindings, dont know what to do with them.

i was thinking about picking up an additional ski to put touring bindings on, altho along the same footprint (prophet 100s? im a bit of a line whore)

Finally getting a two ski quiver...but need help..please...

very little. its easier to get technical on rails with chronics because of the narrower waist, and they rip all mountain. that being said, they are much less playful, but amongst the burliest of constructions, so you win some, you lose some. i love anthems, i rode them all last year, and...

Has there ever been a ski you just completely hated?

I've owned/own a lot of skis, demo'ed a tone more, and groped, fondled and stroked as many as possible, and there have been very few I hated. Most of them havent been twins (fuck salomon streetracers, forever) but i was wondering how everyone else's experiences have been. The only twins i've...

Best ski boot for absorbing impacts

i like the new lange banshee, full vibram sole, plus all the shock absorption you see from everyone else. the nordica ignitons are nice too. go find out what fits your foot the best and see if theres a freestyle version of it.

    Feelings on Nordica Spark

exact same shells, spark has a lower grade polyether (plastic) for the shell, a bit less shock absorption, lower grade buckles, no cuff alignment, thinner power strap, i think i loses the power strap, and a lower grade liner (more open cell foam that feels great for a day or two then packs out...

    Choosing salomons

lords or czars. i wasnt a huge fan of how the czars skied, bit squirrelly. the czars on the other hand road epic, but might be a bit too wide? u should be ok with them, but its a personal preference. the gun wouldnt be bad either, that kinda splits the difference between the two, but is more...

    Best Boot for under 200

whatever fits his foot. either way it doesnt matter, theyre all made of mafrin, which is the cheapest plastic you can make a book out of, it doesnt grind well, or hold a stretch well. plus the liner is gonna suck more than a bit

Marker Jester vs. Look PX 18

px18s are the burliest bindings out there right now. jesters arent too shabby, theres some metal, and some very solid plastic resins (that can be just as strong as metal) but it pales in comparison. i have jesters on my blends, but havent skied them yet, but i have rossi 200xxl frees on my...

    Dalbello vs. Fulltilt

the bsl of the full tilts is going to be shorter but the fit is the same. they use really short heel and toe lugs to help keep the weight down apparently. i like the full tilts a bit more than the kryptons, lighter, a true progressive foward flex, interchangeable tongues, just seems like a...
  19. yeahitsdave

    Line blend

i agree with the previous, bacons for something softer, blends for a bit stiffer. also might want to check out the nordica zeros, 103 under foot and symmetrical, dope all mountain.

Rossi brigade the right ski for my rather large brother?

brigades if hes not doing a ton of park, blends if hes doing a bit more. brigades are def a medium-stiff flexing ski. he only outweighes me by like 40 pounds and i love them. maybe mojo 94s or prophet 100s? even stiffer, but def not as good in the park,
