so its been incredibly cloudy the past few days. today was the first day i could see the mountains in a while, and theyre all covered in snow. i might head up to jay this weekend to hike a bit if i can find boots to use. one of my friends was up there the other day.

i bought a refurbed 30gb video off their website for 200$. basically brand new, nothing wrong with it.

i think im going to switch to telemark this year, ive got skis picked out, and im down to 4 pairs of bindings. if any of you see any deals on boots at any shops let me know, ive been looking around out here too. im basically going for the cheapest ones right now, then later on ill get better ones.

laraway mtn, its pretty close to mt mansfield. its like 40 mins west of burlington.

actually theres some snow in the mountains..i went backpacking last weekend and it snowed on us. it looked like there was a couple inches of decent coverage on mansfield.

they open when they have snow. its not cold enough to make snow right now.

st michaels in vt near burlington. 25$ season pass to smuggs, and a sick outdoors program that does whitewater and sea kayaking, rock and ice climbing, and a few hikes every weekend. the only thing i don't like is the religion class requirement.

i got a 250gb external for 100$. search ebay for idisk or idrive...somthing like that, i don't have it right here so i'm not sure exactly what the name is. their western digital harddrives with a case that this guy makes himself. so far it works great.

the new school is awesome. i can walk out of my dorm and see real mountains, and there is actually stuff to do.
