im probably going to just hike that bluemont place near my house during break... if there is more than 12" of snow on the ground. kb's prices are a little above what i have, and im trying to buy skis.
I just got some tele bindings mounted on my tm's and the guy not only forgot to center mount them, but set them way behind the standard mounting mark. I kind of want to get them remounted, but that will be the third time they have been drilled.. they started out with alpine bindings on them...
if anybody has a set of twins laying around that they dont use and want to get rid of, let me know. i want some for just park and destruction...so i can have a pair of alpine for park until i get good enough on tele's. i could trade for some cash if you really want maybe...if my bank account...
that sucks.
at least we're consistantly getting snow earlier this year, and it staying somewhat cool instead of a cold period then warm. hopefully winter will be good.
i found a pair of hippy stinx for like 100$. pretty sick, there the tele version of the seth pistols. i might get them if they still have them on friday.
well kids skate at that church all the time. i know it never used to be a big deal, but i haven't been up there in a while. the rail is in back so you won't be seen from the road. you will probably need a car tow in though, its on a hill, but not a very steep one.
there is a long one at the methodist church in springville. its like 70ft, but you could build a kicker anywhere along it. there is also one near one of the schools in ellicotville, i can't remember which one it is.
i just got back, it rained the whole time, but there is a lot of snow still. the lower trails are a bit patchy, but once you get about 1/3 of the way up its like a foot to a foot and half of compressed snow. not too bad for october.
