you all seem to have missed the fact that there will be more than one guy skiing with a beacon therefore someone else who is not buried can locate him i would not ski with just 1 guy who only had a beacon. plus you all act as if ive said im definately getting abs and i dont care if my friends...

no saying my friends know enough about avalances to not get buried is ignorent, of course if you venture out into bc then theres always a chance of burial no matter how many precautions you take, but you can avoid getting buried which if you read my thread properly is what i say. so i really am...

yeh whats the snow like there though? since norways gotten much more snowfall id say go there.

there are a number of threads on this. basically NS isnt going to sell them. instead theyve put up some stencils for you to make your own one if your feeling up to the satisfying pastime that is arts and crafts.

thinking of getting one of these as opposed to beacon,probe etc.. you can get them for about 399 euros so im thinkin one will work out cheaper, plus im thinkin preventing burial would be a more effective measure against dying. anyone had any experience with these and how practical they are etc. ?
