Interestingly, someone was talking about some Elan MO2's with an edge ripout the other day and they don't seem to have flanges underfoot? only towards the nose (and i assume tail of the ski), but the edges mentioned in this thread would have the least reinforcement i have ever seen...

yeah custom footbeds often reduce the volume a little - hit them up.

shinbang often comes down to fit and technique..not necessarily the boot. I have supercharger ignitions and I don't get shinbang. The power strap is designed by booster and has elastic in it which should help. Are you landing backseat a fair bit?
